DR. STEVEN G. PAUL
1956-2007

In
lieu of flowers, the family requests those interested to donate to
People Helping Pets a 501c3, Dr. Paul’s charity which raises monies for
animal related charities including Canine Companions for Independence
Service Dogs, Noah’s Wish, various Humane Societies, and public service
dogs amongst others. His beloved Dog, Saint (pictured above) and Cat
Sadie will be awaiting his arrival on the other side of the Rainbow
Bridge.

to People Helping Pets (formerly know as Coral Springs Dog Day Run)
We are a 501 (c) (3) all volunteer non-profit organization, dedicated to
helping pets by raising funds for pet-related charities through fun
community events. We are also committed to educating adults and kids
about proper pet care and the amazing abilities of man’s best friend.
Funds raised by People Helping Pets go to animal-related causes
and charities including
local humane societies of Broward and
Palm Beach Counties,
Canine Companions for Independence,
Sun States Animal Blood
Bank,
Sawgrass Nature
Center and Wildlife Hospital ,
Dr. Paul’s Pet Care Center Dog
Park, Noah’s Wish
& Heifer International.
In the past we have:
Provided
life saving pet oxygen masks to every firehouse in Northwest Broward
County
Purchased
a bullet proof vest for a Coral Springs Canine Police Officer
Sponsored
Canine Companions for Independence service dogs
Purchased
stretchers to assist the humane officers to help injured pets in our
community
Gave a
lecture and demonstration to Northwest Broward County paramedic and
firefighters on how to help pets at crash or fire scenes
Helped
people with financial hardships in our area, that own pets, to access
free blood transfusions if their pets need them
Provided
a microchip insertion pet identification clinic to assist in locating
lost pets.
After Hurricane Wilma we have already successfully reunited one pet from
this special clinic!
Purchased
canine agility equipment for the local dog park
Provided
maintenance and upkeep to the local dog park
Plus,
continuing support to homeless animals in local animal shelters and
wildlife care centers.
